Mourning ring. Gold and enamel. Broad, flat hoop with three bands of black enamel. The central, broad one has reserved in it the inscription: 'SPENCER.PERCEVAL.OB.IIMAY.1812.Æ[four squares in a diamond shape]4.9 Rt HON:' Above and below this band, a milled decoration and after this, near top and bottom edge, a narrow band of enamel. Edges milled. Inside the hoop is inscribed: died by the hand of an Afsafsin
