Gold, diamonds, enamel. Hoop composed of white enamel wavy line, with edge treated so as to suggest scrolls. The hoop bears on the outside the inscription: FRANCES.NICOLLS.OB: OCT:1767.Æ.14. Oval bezel, reeded at back, set with a diamond in silver or base metal, placed in the bifurcation of the hoop forming the shoulders. Flanking the bezel at each side is a small tear-shaped diamond also set in silver or a base metal.
