Gold, enamel and diamonds. Hoop composed of five scrolls, bearing the inscription reserved in black enamel: RICH: PEARSE OB.17 OCT.1742 Æ 39. Between each scroll is a rectangular design which is fretted. The hexagonal bezel is set with a faceted diamond flanked on either side by a small diamond in a square setting.
