Description

Pendant (?). Gold, pearls, enamel, hair and ivory. Large pointed oval, red enamel border, cockade of hair decorated with pearls, all under glass. Central picture made of two-coloured hair with painted rose-buds and wired pearls tied with bows of pearls, set on ivory. Photograph of young boy behind front. Pendant probably originally double-sided; other side now missing.
