Gold, plain gold hoop of triangular section. Oval bezel containing, under glass, the figure of a woman leaning on an urn painted on ivory. Around the bezel runs the inscription, reserved in black enamel: MARY MAUDE OB 8 OCT 1775 ÆT 42
