Mourning brooch/pendant. Gold and ivory. Marquise-shape, containing, under glass, a scene, in sepia, of Hope leaning on an anchor; in the background a ship at sea. Surrounding the scene, under the glass is a chased border. On the reverse is inscribed the script monogram of the initials 'EB'.
