Description

Gold, pearls, hair and enamel. Flat, plain gold hoop widening at the shoulders. Circular bezel with a border of 'bead-set' pearls surrounding, under glass, two urns of gilt-metal and enamel, on a background of plaited hair. The urns in black and white enamel have reserved initials 'AI' on one, 'RL' on the other. On the back of the bezel is the inscription:
