Description

Gold, hair, enamel and gilt-metal. Gold hoop, expanding at shoulders. Circular bezel. Round the edge, reserved in white enamel, bordered at both edges with a narrow band of black enamel, is in the inscription: CATHERINE . HARRIS . BORN 22 . 8C . DIED . 29 . APR : 1793
At the centre, under glass, on a background of hair, an urn on a pedestal, inscribed 'SACRED TO AFFECTION'. Urn composed of gilt-metal, black and white enamel.
