Oval containing under faceted paste on a ground of buff silk (or possibly woven hair) a monogram in gold thread, flanked on either side by a cupid dicsharging an arrow at a heart placed at the end of a pole above the monogram. The scene is surrounded by a looped border of gold thread over blue silk. Below it is the legend: AV PLVS ADROIT
