Brooch. Gold, garnets, ivory, hair. Almost heart-shaped, containing under a glass scene, painted on ivory, of a man fishing beneath a tree, with a ship on the sea. On the back a panel of plaited hair. Surrounding this is an inscription, reserved in white enamel set in four-scroll-shaped panels, to imitate ribbon: UNIS PAR L'AMOUR. The ribbon is set with four garnets and crowned with a coronet of garnets.
