Pottery: Unidentified Orvieto pottery (Probably)
Late Medieval maiolica two-handled bowl, painted in manganese and green with leaves, zig-zags, horizontal bands and a chain.
Cream earthenware, tin-glazed inside; unglazed exterior. Painted in manganese and copper-green.
Circular base, sloping sides rising to an extremely warped oval rim; two wide strap handles with a thumb print at the top.
Inside, within two concentric circles, there are two crossed wavy stems with a leaf at each end and small leaves in the spaces. The lower part of the side is decorated with a zig-zag and leaves between pairs of horizontal bands, and, higher up, there is a green chain and a manganese band.
