Lower part of a pharmacy jar. Buff earthenware, tin-glazed off-white on the interior and exterior; base unglazed except for an irregularly-shaped area. Painted in blue.
Albarello with part of one side and the base. The side was orignally cylindrical, and curves inwards towards the base, and out slightly towards the edge.
At the top of one side there are parts of three stylised plant motifs with two horizontal lines below, and there are two horizontal bands above the base.
History note: Probably acquired by F. Leverton Harris in Siena.
