Stone vase
Stone jar with wavy line decoration around the handles. The four handles are drilled to allow the vessel to be suspended from cords. The stone is a pink coloured limestone that was quite common during this early period of Egyptian history. The centre would have been drilled out and the outer surface carved and polished with sand.
