Description

Glazed steatite scarab with floral motif on base

The reverse is without damages. The whole back shows cracking lines which would appear in bone or wood. No partition of elytra and protorax is indicated, as well as no division of the elytra. The humeral callosities are clearly shown. The head is trapezoidal, eyes are indicated. The clypeus is proportional large and well defined. The legs are shown very stylised in separate lines for front and back legs which do not meet. The scarab is sitting on a base (0.002m).
