Description

Stirrup jar. Mycenaean (?) fabric, pink (7.5 YR 8/4) fine, hard and dense, with fine conspicuous black grits. Thrown, drawn up from base. Thin walls (3 mm), handles, spout, false spout applied. Surface polished and painted decoration in black to red colour *change due to variation in firing conditions). Bands around rim of spout, bases of spout and false spout, on handles, on body from bottom of handles to base, three concentric circles on underside of base
