Clay flask
Clay flask, bag shaped
Clay flask. Made from a type of clay called 'marl' and is buff in colour. This type of vessel would have been used for perfume or oil and would have hung from its owner by attaching a strap around the neck. Excavated at the Sanam cemtery from grave 1010. The vessel was wheelmade and is complete.
