Description

Female figure, standing, wearing wig, feet missing. Fertility figures were placed in tombs and graves as a refernce to fertility and rebirth in the afterlife. The swollen thighs and abdomens indicate that they are linked to fertility. This figure is shown wearing a Hathor wig as a link to the goddess, who could be linked to the West (afterlife) and fertility in general.
