Suggested carved wooden Oxyrhynchus fish (Medjed) sat on top a base, which hold a textile (possibly containing fish bones). It is likely a depiction of a Medjed fish (a filled square dowel hole on the head indicates the presence of a crown), however, the snout is presented differently to that of a Medjed fish, which has a distinctive downturned snout. Moreover, the shape of the fin is different. Questions were also raised regarding whether the base is a later addition.A label on the base reads 'Oxyrynchus. Sacred to [athor(?)]'.
