Limestone heart scarab
Limestone heart scarab with traces of green glaze on the surface. The scarab sits on a square base and is hollow underneath. It is likely that there was originally a gold inscribed base attached to the object. Part of the base is filled with plaster and painted- this is a modern restoration.
