A copy of the 2nd quarter of the 16th century, slightly larger in size, after Dürer's engraving of the same subject (Bartsch no.63) and not necessarily German; it could be Italian. The engraving dates from 1497; the Dürer monogram in this copy has been altered and the date 1505 added. There are minor variations in composition
