Description

Furniture element, in the shape of a tyet-knot. A tang is visible on the top and bottom of the object indicating it was part of a larger item, possibly a chair. Additional details (to illustrate the folds of the material) have been carved into the wood. A single line of inscription runs down the front of the knot, linking this object to the tomb of Nebamun, chief physician and royal butler.
