Wooden chick, with unformed immature wings and small down-curving tail. The body is well modelled and the chick has a long, lumpy neck. The head has been reattached and the wood colour of the head is darker than the body. A hole is pierced on the top of the body and three holes (one is plugged) in the underside of the body. There are traces of white paint on the underside and especially under the tail where there are also black lines to indicate feathering. Doubtful authenticity.
