Description

'Stylised' carved wooden figure, standing and mounted on a modern stand. The figure is standing with feet together an arms folded over the abdomen. It has a square torso, oval shaped lower body and legs, with a distinct flat ridge at the front. The head comes to a pointed ridge at the front. The figure is flat on the reverse. There does not appear to be any pigments present. The object does not appear to have suffered any significant damage, aside from a small piece lost on the left side of the lower body. A darkened circle at the back of the object near the base suggests there was a round label originally present, likely giving information regarding its findspot or acquisition details.

Female (?) figure, standing with arms folded, stylized
