Wooden carved image of Bes (front-facing), nude. A plaster-like material coats much of the reverse of the image, and on the front a blue material is visible (particularly around the groin, legs and arms). A crack is present on the bottom, next to the proper right leg. There are two horizontally arranged tenons at the top and bottom. This image possibly featured on the back of a chair, as a near-identical carved image of Bes can be seen on MMA 36.3.152, the New Kingdom chair of Hatnefer.
