Green porphyry heart scarab with an uninscribed base. The surface has been highly polished. The white sticker on the base refers to an earlier collection. There are two scarabs from the same collection that are made from the same stone. The high polish may have been added in more recent times, or is it is possible that both are modern copies or forgeries, most likely made in the mid 1800's or early 1900's.
