Description

Carved wooden kohl vessel, with broken applicator, decorated with cartouches of Djeser-ka-re (Amenhotep I) and Men-kheper-re (Thutmose III) on either side. The inscription(s) reads: "The youthful king, Djeser-ka-re, given life" and "The youthful king, Men-kheper-re [...]". It is complete, and has minimal damage except for a hole caused by a piece missing from one side of the object. An attached label on the bottom reads '1769'.
