Description

Faience figure of a ram, striding on a rectangular base. Likely mould-made, in two separate halves, and then glazed (blue). Possibly from the Ptolemaic period. The ram is of a similar appearance to an example found at Arsinoe (Medinet el-Faiyum), now housed at the Metropolitan Museum, New York, MMA 26.

Ram, probably representing Amun or Khnum.
