Head from a limestone sarcophagus featuring an Egyptian blue-painted shoulder-length wig (there has been significant surface loss and subsequent modern restoration, probably in the early twentieth century), black eyebrows, black eye outlines and pupils. Traces of gold foil survive on the skin. Below this is a white calcite preparation layer used to even out the roughly finished exterior surface.
