Clay double hanging jar
Small broad shouldered vases with horizontal lug handles. Nile silt with fine sand but no straw, black to reddish brown (5 YR 3/2). Deliberately fired black by introducing smoke into the kiln. Handmade. Base cut to shape, handles applied assymetrically. Surface vertically burnished.
