Bag-shaped vessel, with rounded base, and a slightly flared rim. The decoration is typically of blue-painted pottery commonly associated with Amarna and Malqata. Depicted are approximately 11 horizontal bands of either blue (cobalt-based) or pinkish-red, and are framed by a black/brown border. Vertical 'stripes' can be seen on the bands nearer the neck, and a repeating petal motif (representing the floral collars that would be placed over the vessels) is also visible.
