Description

Fritware, pierced and incised under a turquoise glaze

Fritware, probably wheel thrown, pierced and incised under a turquoise glaze
Shape: conical bowl with gently concave sides, a plain rim, sits on a low foot ring.
Interior: incised with two concentric lines on the upper body between which scrolling lines are incised and pierced.
Exterior: piercing from the interior visible on the exterior surface. Glaze runs over the surface terminating on the lower body.
