Fritware painted in black and blue under a transparent white glaze

Fritware, wheel thrown, painted in black and blue under a transparent white glaze
Shape: bi-conical bowl with a plain rim, sits on a low foot ring
Interior: a radiating design comprises alternating black and blue bands with epigraphy (incised through the pigment) and black feather like fronds reserved in blue. A black bird and spandrel fillers are painted between the radiating arms.
Exterior: black water weeds are painted on the body. The glaze covers the surface and runs unevenly over the base and covers the underside with the exception of the rim of the foot ring.
