Description

Red earthenware, coated with white slip, with incised and cut-away decoration under yellowish lead glaze.

Red earthenware, thrown, coated with white slip on most of the exterior and inside the rim, with incised and cut-away decoration under yellowish lead glaze. Circular, with curved lower part, slightly flaring rim, and four loop handles. Decorated in three of the spaces between the handles with sprays of flowers and in the fourth space with the inscription 'John/Jenkins/his dish/December/ 1834'
