Description

Buff earthenware, tin-glazed on the exterior; the interior lead-glazed yellowish-brown. Painted in dark blue, green, yellow, and brownish-orange.
In the shape of a pine-cone, standing on a circular waisted foot. The scales on the sides are interrupted at three points by a woman's head in relief.
The scales are dabbed with green, yellow, and brownish-orange. The heads are outlined in blue and filled in with the other colours. The foot is decorated with stylized daisies alternating with lozenge motifs in dark blue and brownish-orange.
