Potter: Ryonyu (Raku IX)
Hand-built footed tea bowl of brownish grey stoneware with tong mark.Covered with a shiny black glaze particularly thick around the lip; decorated with a shape said to be like Mt Fuji on one side in a clear-glazed area. Five small wad marks inside well. Lacquer repair on lip.
