Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue and dated 1621
Pinkish-buff earthenware, moulded, tin-glazed and painted in blue. The sides of the hull have portholes and the muzzles of three cannon on one side and two on the other (one is missing), and the top has five open compartments. The stern is painted with the date `1621', with a row of S scrolls below. The planks on the sides are outlined in blue.
History note: Acquired in Bridport by Mr Wallace Cash, Wincanton, from whom bought on 14 March, 1917 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
