Description

Buff earthenware, tin-glazed and painted in blue. The jug has a bulbous body, a short narrow neck with a projecting band, a loop handle with a V-shaped terminal, and a slightly concave underside to the base. The front is decorated with a crown over 'C R/1648' (Carolus Rex).
