Description

Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue with stylized flowers and foliage, and inscribed '1649'

Dark buff earthenware, thrown as four pots joined together and linked by connecting holes in their bulbous parts, each having two handles entwined with the next vessel. Tin-glazed and painted in blue. The pots are painted with stylized flowers and foliage, and the handles are dabbed with spots. The date 1649 has one digit on each of the pots.
