Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue with St Michael killing the Dragon crossed by a scroll bearing the name of the contents
Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glzed and painted in blue. The bottle has a small low foot, an oviform body has a tall cylindircal neck which slopes outwards slightly towards the rim which has a projecting flange. One side is decorated with St Michael killing the Dragon traversed by a scroll bearing the name of the contents A, ENDIVIAE(last two letters joined). On St Michael's shield there are four letters or numbers.
