Description

Off-white earthenware, moulded, and decorated with an applied lizard, and with translucent coloured lead-glazes, and opaque white. Circular, with a flat rim, and deep well, standing on a low circular foot. The rim is moulded in low relief with a border of formal foliage and scrolls coloured green, yellow, and manganese on a blue ground with yellow bands round the inner and outer edges. The well is manganese, with a green and blue lizard. The reverse is mottled overall in blue, manganese, and green with a little yellow near the edge..
