The plate is octagonal, with a narrow sloping rim, deep, slightly curved sides and flat centre. The centre is decorated with a circular print which is a variant of the Caughley porcelain 'Full Nankin' pattern. On the sides there is a border of hexagonal motifs between two rows of half-hexagons.
