Description

Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue, yellow, and manganese-brown

Buff earthenware, press-moulded, tin-glazed and painted in blue, yellow, and a little brown. The candlestick is In the form of a young man seated holding an oval bowl resting on his knees. Two candle sockets rise from his shoulders. The young man has yellow hair, and a brown spot on each cheek, and wears a knee-length tunic and boots with a rosette on the front.
