Potter: Unknown
Fritware coated in a turquoise glaze painted in polychrome and gilded
Fritware, wheel thrown, coated in turquoise glaze painted in black, white, blue, grey and red and gilded.
Shape: shallow carinated bowl with collared neck, sits on a high, flaring foot ring.
Interior: blue dentillated pattern on the rim, while on the neck a black band is painted with a white floriated kufic inscription. On the base, white arabesques radiate from a white central rosette, both filled with red or blue and with small areas of gilding.
Exterior: black naskhi inscription painted on the neck. Glaze runs over the surface, terminating evenly on the foot ring.
