Description

Buff earthenware, tin-glazed except for the underside, and painted in blue and orange. Of albarello form decorated with a broad orange horizontal band midway down, with four blue horizontal bands below it and three above.

History note: Found on Market Hill, Cambridge; not known how acquired by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
