Description

Buff earthenware tin-glazed and painted in blue, olive-green, yellow, and brownish-red. Circular with a narrow sloping rim, deep curved sides and flat centre. In the middle, within three concentric blue circles, is a half figure of George I in coronation robes, holding a sceptre. On either side of his head in red are the initials G and R. Below the truncation there is a blue area with grasses on ether side. The rim is encircled by a broad yellow band between two blue.
