Description

Jug. Hard-paste porcelain painted underglaze in cobalt blue. The neck is of cylindrical form, mounted with an English silver rim and applied at the side with a loop handle; the globular body is resting on a flared footrim. The jug is painted with sprays of flowering prunus and chrysanthemum above a band of lotus petals around the foot, and the handle with a spray of leaves and a central flower head.
