Production: Lambeth High Street Pottery (Probably)
Buff earthenware, painted in blue, yellow, and brown, and powdered with manganese. Circular wth a wide sloping rim, shallow sides, flat centre, and recessed base. The well is painted with rocks, bamboos, flowers, and a fence with a flying insect on the left. The rim has a powdered manganese ground, decorated with alternating insects and floral sprays scratched through it and painted yellow. The edge of the rim is brown.
