Pottery: unidentified London pottery
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed, and painted in pale shades of blue, yellow, and manganese-purple. Circular with a sloping rim, curved sides, and flat centre, with recessed base. The middle is decorated with a bird perching on a rock, a fence, flowering plants and bamboo, and a flying insect enclosed by two concentric circles. On the rim there are four floral sprays and a blue band round the outer edge.
