Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue
Buff earthenware, moulded in parts, tin-glazed, and painted in blue. The stand is in the shape of a tier of ten shelves attached to a central hollow oval support. The undersides of the three lowest shells have protrusions for feet. The interiors of the shells are painted with Chinese style flowers and plants, except for the top shell which has a vase holding a flower and two peacock feathers. A figure 4 is painted on the underside of one shell.

This stand was made at the World's End Pottery in Dublin during the proprietorship of either William Delamain, his 'widow', Mary Delamain, or William Delamain and Samuel Wilkinson.
