Jug from a Toy Tea Set
Pottery: Unidentified Liverpool pottery
Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue with a landscape
Buff earthenware, thrown,with applied handle, tin-glazed bluish-white and painted in blue. The jug is piriform with a projecting lip and loop handle of oval section. The sides are decorated with a landscape with houses and trees beside a river or lake, and there is a border of waves below the rim. The handle is horizontally striped.
